COVID-19 AND HOW WE ARE PROTECTING YOU

Last Updated 6/26/2020

There is nothing more important to us than your health and well-being.  As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic together, we continue to create and refine new care options with your safety in mind.

Telehealth
We are continuing to provide safer and easier ways for you to get the care you need through telehealth appointments.   When you call for an appointment, our staff will talk with you by phone and may schedule a virtual telehealth visit with your Provider.  You can visit with your Provider from your own home through a smartphone or computer.  A few examples of these visits include:
-Colds, seasonal allergies, congestion, skin rashes, migraines
-Treatment of stress, anxiety or depression
-Follow-up on labs, imaging results and routine medication
-Abdominal pain and constipation, urinary symptoms, reflux

In-Person Visits
If your Provider decides you need to be seen in person, they will give you instructions on what to do.  Our Northside and Arlington locations are open for routine care, such as wellness exams, and treatment of non-COVID-19 illnesses.  We are continuing to ensure that patients who need in-person appointments are being seen in a safe environment through strict health and cleaning guidelines and procedures.

We are requiring all employees, patients, and visitors to wear a face mask at all times while in the building.

  • We ask that you bring your own face mask.  If you do not have a face mask, one will be provided to you to wear during your visit.
  • Anyone that is 2 years or older must wear a face mask
  • Cloth face masks and surgical face masks are approved to wear.  Face masks with exhalation valves/buttons cannot be worn.
  • Make sure to cover both your mouth and nose with the face mask.
  • Please DO NOT remove your face mask unless instructed for testing or otherwise.
  • Please DO NOT pull the face mask down under your chin, below your nose, or up over your forehead.
  • If you touch your mask, wash your hands immediately with soap and water (for 20 seconds) or use hand sanitizer.
  • If you refuse to wear a face mask, we may be able to reschedule your appointment as a virtual visit or phone visit with your provider.

COVID-19 Concerns
If you are worried about COVID-19, or are having symptoms (cough, shortness of breath, fever), please call us.  We will talk with you about your symptoms to determine if you need to schedule an appointment for an evaluation and possible testing, if you should go to the hospital or if you should stay at home.  All COVID-19 testing is being done at our Southeast location on Mitchell Blvd.  Should you contract COVID-19, our counselors will follow-up with you to ensure you are recovering well and to offer any other support you might need during that time.

Please call us at 817-625-4254 to schedule a visit for any of your healthcare needs or for any questions.  You may also request an appointment through the patient portal.

We thank you for trusting NTACHC with your health and we are here when you need us.
