North Texas Area Community Health Centers Offer Flu Shots and COVID Vaccines for Those 6 Months and Up on Saturdays Oct. 1 to Nov. 5

WHO/WHAT:
North Texas Area Community Health Centers (NTACHC) will offer flu/Pfizer COVID vaccinations for those 6 months old and up at Saturday clinics. These are for current patients and new patients. NTACHC also has a limited number of Pfizer Bivalent Boosters available. Insurance is accepted. For those who do not have insurance, NTACHC encourages people to call to discuss eligibility and options. An appointment is highly encouraged by requesting it online at https://ntachc.org/ or calling 817-625-4254.

The clinics are from 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

10/1, 10/22 and 10/29: Northside, 2332 Beverly Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76114
10/8 and 11/5: Arlington: 979 N. Cooper St., Arlington, TX 76011
10/15: Southeast: 2909 Mitchell Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76105
COSTS/INFORMATION:
Flu vaccines are at no-cost for children (6 months-18 years old) who qualify (i.e., Medicaid, CHIP, uninsured or underinsured). Pregnant women on Medicaid are also eligible to receive a vaccine at no-cost.
Adults 19 years old and up:
- If the patient is on NTACHC’s Sliding Scale Fee program or on CHIP Perinate:
- Regular Flu shots: $20
- Egg-Free Flu shots (for those with egg allergy): $40
- High-Dose Flu shots (65yrs+): $65
- Those not on the sliding scale
- Regular Flu shots: $35
- Egg-free Flu shots: $50
- High-Dose Flu shots (65yrs+): $105
COVID vaccines are at no-cost for all patients. NTACHC bills insurances for the vaccine administration fee only for those privately insured.
