New Maternal Video Highlights Joyful Beginnings Program

At North Texas Area Community Health Center’s (NTACHC) Southeast Center located in Fort Worth, Texas, there is one of the highest concentrations of maternal deaths. NTACHC’s Joyful Beginnings, a Maternal Health Program, helps mothers-to-be and new mothers how to take care of themselves during and right after pregnancy. We also support the dads and the infants through our many services. In sum, more than 90% of maternal deaths are preventable, and NTACHC is trying to help the community with programs like these.
